Exporting audit logs
Generate compliance-ready audit reports for your finance team.

5 steps
Prerequisites
You have audit log data in your workspace
You have appropriate permissions to export audit logs
Step 1
Navigate to audit logs
Go to Settings > Audit Logs or Compliance > Audit Trail
You'll see a comprehensive log of all actions in your workspace
Filter logs by date range, user, action type, or entity
Step 2
Filter your audit data
Select the date range for your report (e.g., last month, quarter, or year)
Filter by specific actions (invoice approvals, payments, user changes)
Filter by user if you need a specific person's activity log
Filter by entity or contractor for entity-specific reports
Step 3
Configure export settings
Choose export format (CSV for Excel, PDF for formal reports)
Select which columns to include (timestamp, user, action, details, IP address)
Choose whether to include sensitive data or redacted versions
Select date and time format preferences
Step 4
Generate the report
Click 'Export Audit Log'
The system will prepare your export file
Download the file when ready (usually available within seconds)
For large date ranges, you may receive an email with the export link

Use for compliance
Store exported audit logs securely for compliance requirements
Share with auditors or finance teams as needed
Archive reports according to your data retention policy
