Enable contractors to request bank changes, rate updates, and more.

Prerequisites
You have contractors already onboarded
Contractor portal is enabled for your workspace
Step 1
Enable contractor requests
Navigate to Settings > Contractor Portal
Toggle on 'Allow Contractor Requests'
Select which types of requests contractors can submit
Configure notification preferences for when requests are submitted
Step 2
Configure request types
Enable 'Bank Account Changes' for contractors to update banking details
Enable 'Rate Updates' for contractors to request rate changes
Enable 'Invoice Amendments' for contractors to modify submitted invoices
Enable 'General Requests' for other inquiries or updates
Step 3
Set up approval workflow
Configure who can approve contractor requests (finance team, managers)
Set up implicit approval for low-risk changes
Define approval steps for sensitive changes like bank account updates
Configure email notifications for request status changes
Step 4
Configure request requirements
Require documentation for bank account changes (void check, bank statement)
Set requirements for rate change requests (justification, contract updates)
Define which invoice changes require re-approval

Train your team
